Greenspace experts, thought leaders, advocates and passionate community members gather to discuss the important role that parks play in our lives, share best practices, brainstorm solutions and learn from one another, all with a backdrop of the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s vibrant tulips in full bloom. Welcome to Park Pride’s Annual Parks & Greenspace Conference.
The Conference is just five weeks away and, here at Park Pride, we’re excitedly preparing and counting down the days until Monday, March 24. Attracting over 500 attendees, this is the largest parks conference in the southeast.

With the theme Connecting on Common Ground, the full-day program will explore topics such as Cultural & Historical Connections, Nature Connections, Infrastructure Connections, and Uncommon Connections. The full program is now available on our website, be sure to check it out!
And as our attendance grows, so does our curriculum. This year, we’re offering 50% more sessions than last year – our largest program yet! With these increased offerings, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
“This year’s Parks & Greenspace Conference will feature our most expansive curriculum to date with 18 breakout sessions, three of which are outdoor sessions, plus three keynote speakers,” Park Pride’s Director of Education Eli Dickerson said. “We’ve also expanded to Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park to accommodate the larger curriculum. Whether you’re already registered or just Conference-curious, I highly encourage you to check out the full curriculum details today and share with your network. See you on March 24!”
Through education and inspiration, the Conference focuses on best practices for companies and individuals united by a common desire to improve parks and strengthen communities. Our program showcases thought leaders from Atlanta and across the nation, including keynote speakers Torey Carter-Conneen, Chief Executive Officer at the American Society of Landscape Architects; Hannah S. Palmer, writer and artist from the Southside of Atlanta; and Jon Jon Wesolowski, avid urbanist, national speaker, and content creator from Chattanooga, TN.

Palmer wrote in a social media post that she’s “very excited to talk parks, pools, and public space!”
Wondering if you should attend? If you love parks, the answer is a resounding YES!
We expect to sell out so be sure to get your ticket today! The nonprofit/government rate ends on March 1, so go ahead and register to secure your discounted ticket. We can’t wait to celebrate the power of parks with you!
